Is parking free?
Yes! Free parking just steps from the Beach and Beach Shack.

 

Can I access your beach through local transit?

Great Idea! We are on the transit line! We are on routes 3 and 16. Look for the bright blue concession and beach flags, our beach shack is in the sand right in front of it.

Do you take credit card?
Yes. We do accept major credit cards, Interac and cash from July to September. We will even hold a  piece of Government ID for you when you paddle - ok, it's for us to make sure we receive the equipment back...

 

What do I wear paddling?

Dress in active wear, or swim wear. Synthetic blends are much better than cotton. 

 

What do I wear for the Glow SUP Night Paddle?
Dress in active wear with life jacket, or long sleeve. Bring change of clothes, just in case you go for a “swim”.  

What should I bring with me?
Towel, sunscreen, ID, cash or credit card, and big smiles. 

 

Do you have a restroom?
Yes, Restroom is just steps from the beach.

 

Do I need a guided lesson?

A guided lesson will give you the most thorough precise instruction. Having a private guide will insure your safety, and will end with you feeling confident and excited about the sport. The lesson will be taught by one of our SUP or Yoga SUP certified guides both onshore and on the water. The lesson will be differentiated depending on skill level, and age. We highly recommend this experience for first timers, and anyone less confident about water sports.

 

Why do you require first timers the onshore tutorial?

First and foremost, we want you to be safe. We work closely with the Transport Canada, and our job is to keep you safe on the water. So we don't charge for the 5 minute quick onshore tutorial to give you the basics to ensure your safety. Knowing the basics will assure you a lot more fun on the water. This will also help prevent you from falling in over and over.

 

Do you have wetsuits?
No.

 

Is there a place for me to store my belongings?
Yes, you can drop your bag in the shack but we do not lock them up (will take keys and hold them securely). Glow SUP Adventures is not responsible for ANY items left in the beach shack. 

 

Do you take reservations?
Yes!

 

Do you have a group discount?
Yes, for groups of 6 or more wishing to rent. We do not have discounts on adventures as these are planned for groups.

 

Do you have life jackets/leashes?
Yes. We supply life jackets and leashes for everyone. We also encourage you to bring your own sporty lifejacket if you like. Once you leave the swimming area there are $250 fines given out for not rocking this life saving device (not by us). 

 

Is there a place for me to eat lunch, or hang out after?
Yes, we have a great beach, bright beach chairs for you to lounge around in and even rent umbrellas. There is amazing food just steps from the water, parking and our beach shack. The fish tacos are incredible!

 

What are the age restrictions for paddling?
3 and under must share the board with an adult.

4 and over must be accompanied with adult, but can paddle their own board with parent in or on the water. Our Kids lessons for 7 - 12 year olds are are with an instructor the whole time.  

13 and over can paddle without an adult, but must stay within view of the Sudbury Beach area.

*A parent or gardian must sign a waiver and be responsible for everyone that is a minor.
